Indeed owns its name to a menhir, a
standing stone, located on this 10 ha estate. The Château is several
kilometers south of Saint Foy La Grande. The vines are situated on the
southern side of a slope with good natural drainage. The soil has a large
proportion of clay, with a rocky subsoil that comes through the topsoil in
certain places.
Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Cabernet Franc
20%, Merlot 60%.
The wine reflects the elegance of its
terroir has sufficient structure to age well. Ruby color, good intensity.
Delicate nose and expressive of matured fruits, butter, spices. Very well
structured in the mouth, silky tannins, supple, good persistence and good,
long finish. |
